Biju Sopanam is an actor who is active in malayalam television. He is best known for his character roles in the comedy serials ‘Uppum Mulakum’ (Flowers TV) and Back Benchers (Amrita TV).

Personal Life

Biju Kumar better known on stage as Biju Sopanam hails from Thiruvanathapuram. He has graduated from a reputed institution.

Acting Career
Biju started his career in acting as a theatre artist in 1995. He served as the disciple of popular drama artist and director Kavalam Panicker. Biju played the drama ‘Natyashasthra’ and also presented the stage play ‘Oorubhagam’ at Delhi. He appeared in television with the comedy serial ‘Back Bencher’ directed Unnikrishnan aired in Amrita TV.

He shot to fame after being featured in another comedy serial ‘Uppum Mulakum’ aired in Flowers TV. ‘Uppum Mulakum’, a family tale creamed with humour which tells the tale of Balachandran, his wife Neelima and their four kids. Biju plays Balachadran, the funny and witty hero.

‘Back Benchers’ is a college campus-based comedy serial telecasted in Amrita TV. Biju gives life to Benjamin Brunou, the college principal. ‘Uppum Mulakum’ and ‘Back Benchers’ are much popular among the family audience. Biju gives full faith to his characters which are liked by the small screen spectators. His onscreen chemistry with Nisha Sarang in ‘Uppum Mulakum’ shows his acting brilliance.
